We are still rolling!

I haven't written in here for almost 2 months! Man, time flies when your having fun. I want you to know that John is still on the program. I will have to update this further with all the details. Hopefully I will get to this by this weekend.

Just for the record though, he has continued to lose weight and inches. He is wearing clothes he hasn't worn for years.

His bowel movements are still "cow patty" consistency. He has about 6 bowel movements per day on average. It is amazing how "full of it" he really was.

His blood sugars overall have been excellent. Yesterday, for some reason, they read 195. That is the only time they have been that high. One other time it was 168. That was when his finger tried to get infected. He still burns himself easily and I am treating three burns now.

He has developed a fidgeting of some sort with him swishing his tongue around. Mentally, he seems different in several ways. One, he is acutely aware of what he "can't do". Overall, he has been more depressed because he is not able to participate in the day to day family activities. I hope I can help him more that way. His hands are somewhat crippled and his balance and stamina are way off. So those are definite challenges that somehow need to be overcome or this program may all be for naught.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing this ongoing experience. I have learned a lot. IT seems that the program John has been on has really made positive changes. There are so many downs with the ups. I love you both and you family. I love your positive attitude through some very rough times.

  2. I cannot even begin to fathom the healing you've undertaken! Though I have recently taken on that sort of responsibility in a small way, too, your story is astounding, and your unwavering spirit is all the more so. Your confidence in and energy for natural healing, and your devotion and care for your husband is inspiring, to say the least! And so is John's faith in you, through all the trouble and difficulty he must endure! What friendship you share with one another, what respect you must cultivate for one another to follow through with such a program! I can only commend and admire your sincere effort.

Most important is our spiritual and mental health, and that seems to be improving for John has his physical conditions become more manageable. May his health bring improved health to the whole family. And may he never feel badly about any of it, but understand that what he has given you is, perhaps, the most tremendous opportunity, for all of you to help him, to care. The people we help, often help us so much more in return, by asking us to give of ourselves, reflecting back to us our own limitations, our own problems, and how, too, they may be resolved - right within our own heart and mind, our views and perceptions and thoughts.
Challenges bring out the very best and worst in us, so that we may remember & recognize what is truly important in life, what is truly worthwhile, and also, what should be abandoned. Success in healing doesn't always mean LIFE or fully recovered health. Success is simply the attitude with which we face all the good and bad that come our way, and how we learn from it, how we grow in wisdom and compassion. May you all grow lighter and lighter, brighter and brighter, freer and freer. May you all be well, happy, and peaceful.

PS. H.E.A.L Marketplace, run by Dara & Michael Dietz, is a great source (though I doubt you need it, your father being an Herbalist). But they are really wonderful, caring people who practice & study & have had much experience following Dr. Christopher's healing programs. And what I like about them most is that they are clearly not in it for the business, but only because their heart calls them to this work, and because they wish to share whatever they can with others. Good people, good, caring friends are the best doctors, the best nurses, the best healers. You're giving your husband a second chance in life. It is no small gift. But don't forget to look after yourself, your own mind and body, through it all! You need each other to be well for one another.
